The fan only has a soft hum with no jet engine sounds that can be quite distracting when attempting to relax in the bath. Plus, the light is dimmable to make it really easy to customize the set up in the room. Installing the fan/light combination in the bath or shower room offers a quick remedy to eliminate the steam build up and avoid issues with foggy mirrors.
Do not be fooled by the pictures online! This fan/light combo work well but you can visually SEE THE MOTOR when you look up at it. The trim kit does not hide the motor. Called Panasonic Tech support and they know the problem but have NO FIX FOR IT. The look is industrial like. DONT BUY
Robert, thanks for the feedback. I have personally installed several of these fans and you are right they work great. The trim kit that you mention does show the housing/ fan motor if you look through the light area, however, when the light is on its hard to see due to the brightness of the LED bulb. This is not really a design flaw because the air flow/ steam has to go through the trim kit to get expelled from the home. This is one of the few fan choices available where the fan doesn’t look like a fan. All of my customers so far have been very happy with it.

I had this installed and the motor is not working. I don’t see anything on line regarding trouble shooting this issue. May the the fuse. Do you have any suggestions?

Do you know if the light was switched separately from the fan? I would make sure the wire was connected in the junction box.

Hello Isabelle, the only difference that can see is the new version (this model) has an 11 watt LED bulb and the previous version had a 14 watt LED bulb. In my opinion, I would purchase the one that has the lowest price.
